Many people have experienced issues after upgrading to Internet Explorer 10, particularly with older sites that are not actively updated/maintained (government sites, school sites, etc). I personally have had tremendous luck resolving most of these types of issues simply by enabling the Compatibility mode feature. This is incredibly easy to use for any page that appears to load incorrectly. Simply click the icon [to the right of the address bar] that looks like a paper ripped in half horizontally.
