What's your mood?
I recently downloaded a song recommended through my favorite site (Lifehacker). The album artwork that showed up in Windows Media Player had an entertaining little ghost icon with the words "GHOSTLY.COM" below it, so out of curiosity, I checked it out! (The song was pretty relaxing, so I had to see if more was available). And wouldn't you know it? I saw a little link on the main page that looked like this:
So naturally I clicked it, and found it to be a very entertaining little flash-based webapp that will choose music for you based on what you perceive your mood to be! Of course it's not psychic or anything, you have to tell it how you're feeling, but still, definitely worth some of your time if you're a music buff and in the mood for some music ;-)

My Favorite Chrome Extensions
I'm hoping most of you reading this have adopted either Firefox or Chrome as their default browser and have completely ditched Internet Explorer.

Find a Job! - "Social Jobs Partnership" Facebook page
Hello again everyone!
I can't take credit for finding this. My dear friends over at LH (Lifehacker.com) wrote this article and I felt it must be shared! Times are tough, and if you're out of a job... Those times are a million times worse. Take a look below at this great new resource!
It's no secret that millions of people are having a hard time finding work. The US Labor Department's new Social Jobs Partnership page on Facebook is designed to connected these job-seekers with little-known career resources and job openings. Right now the page is in development, but you can see organizations and services listed in the career resources section such as the National Association of Colleges and Employers, DirectEmployers, and Job Corps. The Labor Department's My Skills My Future website is one of the resources linked; it helps people find alternative careers based on their current skills. The Facebook page promises to be sort of an online job fair mixed with career counseling tools and information. Good to Know!
Google released a 'Good to Know' site containing all sorts of security tips and tricks to help keep you safe while browsing online!
It's also got information regarding data being stored online, how it's used, etc. I highly recommending taking a peek at what information they have to offer. If you're unsure about web browsing, and continuously fear getting malware (viruses, spyware, trojans, etc), this will help you rest a little easier. Or if you're worried about hackers accessing your data, this too is a great place to get more information about how to prevent such data theft from occuring.

Keep track of your bills!

Manilla is a new (in beta) web app that helps you keep track of all your major bills! I haven't been using it tremendously long, but so far I'm loving it!
It has many custom notifications and reminders to help you keep on top of everything. Being so busy on a regular basis, my mail tends to just pile up... and some bills wind up being forgotten about until they're way late and I'm getting calls from my utility company's saying 'Hey asshole, pay your damn *instert bill here*'
I definitely suggest taking a look and giving it a try. I was a little skeptical at first on giving out all my account information, however they seem to be pretty secure (as you'll notice on the bottom of their page, they're trusted by McAfee, VeriSign SSL, AND TRUSTe certified privacy).
I didn't give any sort of walk through on how to set up this app, so if anyone would like further clarification/help, please let me know in the comments.

First Tip! - How to control your home computer from anywhere (that has internet access)
Hello All, and welcome to my first tip! <(^_^)>
A lot of you may already know how to do this, but I find it to be VERY useful to be able to log into your computer at home from wherever you are, and I feel that this is something everyone should know how to do!
Let me start by saying there are multiple methods of remotely controlling your home (or work) computer. I will only cover one of them here (the ones I find to be the easiest).
